In 1989 four Bandon residents founded Shoreline Education for Awareness.  See http://www.sea-edu.org/. Bill and Joan were two of them. If you go to the "Wildlife Information" page you will find links to many pdf files of brochures that Joan has designed and built. An exceptions are the pages  not labeled "PDF";  they are collages of photos and text by the WebMaster. The "Foreign Language Translations" are of interest to some and involved a lot of citizen deplomacy and hard work learning to include the diacritical marks in some languages to say nothing of the Kanji in which the Japanese brochure is written.  The English sub-titles were retained to alow  comparison to the English Language version published by Friends of Shore Acres.
